Minnebar hits in two weeks – it has me thinking about discussion content.
I’m participating in a panel discussing Web 2.0 (developing apps, getting noticed, building community, and making money.) If you’re looking at that list and asking yourself which one of those is not like the others, I’ll tell you – it’s the last one. Making money in the Web 2.0 space is tough.
It makes sense. Even though I personally think the isolated phenomenon is closing down and sinking into the larger web, Web 2.0 hasn’t made it inside the enterprise yet. In addition to that, the fan club is pretty small (relative to the interweb population.)
That said (written,) there’s never been a better time to launch an app and get noticed. The fan club have blogs, and they can take an app from nothing to popular in a day.
Strategically speaking (writing,) deploying revenue-generating ideas in Web 2.0 clothing seems pretty obvious. Why is it so difficult to find good examples?

I should probably respond since nobody else knows you’re using my example. Find me one of your own examples C.
