I’m looking forward to some time out of the office this week – hopping a flight to San Francisco to attend An Event Apart. While this one isn’t technically a vacation, it’ll be good to kick back as others lead the discussion on principles. Twelve years into the game, I still feel like I’m trying to balance business and practice. A few days with some of the sharpest hackers in the industry should serve as great focus on the latter.
If you’re in the Bay area (not heading to FOWA) and have a line on any geek-ups Wednesday night, I’m all ears. I get in early enough Wednesday afternoon and have no plans beyond photowalking Chinatown, looking for squid.
